Badminton
Clubs |
The Badminton club runs a team and organises matches (follow link to their website) which are normally played on a Sunday evening, so come along watch and meet the players.
The Recreation Club is also home to a number of other badminton groups. On Monday and Friday evenings new through to experienced players are welcome to come along and join in. Or if you and friends prefer, book a court at our Reception and do your own thing. The Club organises coaching sessions for young and new players, please enquire at Reception for details. |
Courts |
We have two badminton courts in our sports hall. Booking is advisable particularly at peak times (evenings) and because the hall is used for other activities, by calling reception on 01787 223584. Courts are £6.0 per hour before 5pm and £7.60 per hour after 5pm. |
Buddy scheme |
We recognise it can be quite daunting for an individual to join a club, so we have a ‘Buddy scheme’ were someone will be available to introduce you and show you the ropes. In the first instance please phone the Badminton contact Jo Willsher or send an email with your contact details and someone will get back to you. |
