Earls Colne Squash Club Aprés Squash The Squash Club is based at the Earls Colne Recreation Club (ECRC). Membership of the Squash Club is free (currently!), but it is necessary for players to be members or guests of ECRC. An application form for membership of ECRC can be downloaded here and upon its completion and submission with the requisite fee, membership can be granted. Guests are allowed access to the club on payment of a modest day-rate fee. ECRC is a registered charity and exists not for corporate or personal gain, but to provide a good quality sports and leisure facility for the people of Earls Colne and the surrounding area. See the ECRC website here for details. A benefit to members is the right to use the recently refurbished and fully stocked bar where the animosities and exertions of the squash court can be forgotten, and a glass of guest beer enjoyed. An enlightened policy on the part of the General Manager allows us access to an ever-changing range of guest beers from breweries all over the UK. Traditionally, these are much enjoyed by squash players and indeed all members, but alternative refreshments of a fizzy or chemical-laden nature are of course also available. Sky TV is shown in the bar, which is patronised by the many sports clubs based at ECRC.
